Today, Dec 1st, 2012, Syrtis proved its dominance by effective preliminary preparation and successful invasion of both Alsius and Ignis realms. Our clannies were active and brave in getting total victory for Syrtis. During this invasion Titanium Axle brought Alsius gem to our Gem Portal. The "Syrtis shall be wiser" wish has been realized by Golden Dragon for all Syrtians on our Gem Portal. So, enjoy that wish, and ... recall those great moments of our virtual battles, woohoo!

Azkareth reached top 60 level

Azkareth, our brave and reliable warlock, reached the highest 60 level on November 25th. Great job, Azkareth!

As constantly leveling up and absolutely even not hopeless marksman, I would like to declare a note of protest and to pay a special attention of all, who plays great Regnum Online MMO game, and especially knights, on one annoying defect in ammunition of the knight, which exists at the present time. I think, all knights will support me, will be ready to try IT (at least once for sure! ;-) ), and with pleasure will carry IT and use in bloody fights. :-) Yes, I'am about codpieces, which by the way will be very useful especially during the winter military period.

The codpiece history began back in the 14th century when there was no still a tailoring habitual to us began and tailor's art only developed. Men's trousers were two separate leg cut, which only goes to the back of the buttocks and fastened to the belt strings. All the "shame" was covered by a long coat. But when jackets started to be shortened, it was necessary to find in addition a triangle or a rectangle from a fabric which would cover man's genitals.

Yes, and relieve themselves so it was more convenient - not have to untie his pants entirely. This scrap of a fabric also was called a codpiece. Man's advantage it appeared on a look — through a fabric all cambers were well visible. And fans to boast right there it used! Men started to enclose sawdust, hay in a codpiece and it is simple that will be visually to increase the size of contents of a codpiece. And when the fashion and trousers was replaced started to do by more free, the codpiece became already a decorative element of a suit which is completely repeating in a form its contents. The codpiece left the use only in the 16th century when the fashion direction finally changed. And, an armor too underwent essential changes. Or, perhaps that the codpiece got out of fashion, female sneers are guilty. Men took great pain to increase the size of a codpiece. Sometimes its sizes exceeded one and a half elbow. The sizes of a codpiece allowed to carry in it a purse and small values (that all the most valuable was in one place). Women who were flattered on an impressive codpiece were waited, certainly, by disappointment - the most part of a codpiece occupied there is a purse (probably female assessment of appeal of the gentleman on the size of a purse also goes back to times when the free space of a codpiece was filled with money). The disappointed ladies took great pain to deride owners of codpieces that supposedly the codpiece at them and huge and is filled it with deception and lie. Once in shop of one manufacturer of codpieces in Modena which was famous just for that did codpieces in size in an elbow, the angry women broke and crushed it to put an end to deception. Probably, push-up the brassieres which are visually increasing a female breast, is a revenge in centuries to men for "exaggerated" codpieces. :)

After a short excursion into history let's get back to our Regnum Online. And here it is necessary to offer to designers and developers of this great game to keep historical accuracy, and ... yeah, to add a codpiece into RO armor. We have confirmation about existence of 18 years at an entrance in the game, right? ;-) Plus, additional trade will simply blossom - also the benefit for Regnum Online merchants. It's a crystal clear vodka and for everyone clear, that it is necessary to follow the trivial rule: the size of a codpiece should correspond to the level of the player! War Master can be visible from the far distance and will terrify enemies from afar. Besides, it can become an energetic stimulator for fast leveling up, and will initiate less lazy during boring grinding time, i. e. indirect help to NGD Studios.

For Syrtis, where, as a rule, the favorable weather conditions, the codpiece could be purely decorative to please the eye of beautiful Syrtis war ladies.

And, warm codpieces from Yeti or Trolls wool are prompted for players of snow Alsius land.
For Ignis players, who are living in the hot desert, the fashionable codpieces from a snakeskin of marsh spectral snakes, and also cooling codpieces from cold-blood beetles, are offered.

For especially rich players it is offered the beautiful codpieces with precious draconic gems for usage.

Naturally, iron codpieces - to all knights (Titanium Axle, the leader of Syrtis War Stalkers clan, humbly asks NGD Studios for personal titanium codpiece for himself, please!). For barbarians it is possible to offer leather codpieces from Wolf skin.

New codpiece skills for WM barbarians, who has codpiece, from +50 blunt damage, and additional influence of dizzy only on female enemies characters would be also quite good to do.

For Ximerins you can buy additional tattoo with name of your character on your codpiece (as an additional epic suggestion to implement: tattoo with sweetheart name on codpiece on Valentine Day event for Ximerins too).

There is an interesting idea for female characters: for currently exist armored plate pants to add the fighting brassiere, for which can be successfully adapted two knights helmets.

Animal farm on Haven

Last days and weeks Syrtis was extra busy by fighting with both Alsius and Ignis realms, united together into one common animal farm. It brought us an additional fun and more responsibilities to defend the whole Haven world, but anyway Syrtis is the best and the strongest realm on Haven - see pictures about goats and pigs common work, an shameful animal alliance on Haven world!

Dilys reached 60!

Dilys, our soul knight and active clannie, have reached the highest 60 level on September 20th. Great job, Dilys!

Soron got War Master

Soron was created in November 2008 and member of the Eternals of Horus got the top level 50 around May 2010 almost 1 year and half after.

Less and less people played in Eternals of Horus, one the most ancient clans and, finally, I was alone in the clan still hoping my good friends be back. Playing Melusine my warlock, I met Titanium Axle in Raearia as he was intended to found a new clan. He accepted Soron to be a new member of the Syrtis War Stalkers (July 2010).

Then NGD created the WM, I leveled Soron to 51 the 5th of June 2011 and got the new War Master top level 60 the 7 of September.

Soron has other chars in its family:

• Melusine - Warlock 40,
• Vercingetorix - Hunter 40,
• Tux the Barbarian - Barb 35,
• Miss Tick - Conjurer 32.

Clan statistics after Horus and Raven worlds merging into united Haven one

Finally, after merging of Horus and Raven worlds into one united Haven world, we again can see up-to-date statistics, and on our Haven world with big pleasure we can see how our Syrtis War Stalkers clan has risen:

• by Regnum Points: from 24 to 20 position,
• by experience (XP): from 8 to 6 position,
• by gold: from 12 to 8 position.

Good job, clannies, my congratulations, and let's do our best further having fun at the same time on the eve of 2nd clan's anniversary!

One busy day of Syrtians

I wanna tell about one busy day of Syrtians, occurred yesterday, and as usual it will happen mainly in glorious pictures from battles. On this day Syrtis successfully invaded Alsius and Ignis and finally met Golden Dragon and have got "closer to WM" wish from him. And, bonus news is: both Alsius gems were captured by us, Syrtis War Stalkers clan: first gem was captured and brought to Syrtis by Titanium Axle, and second one - by Skipy, woohoo!

Join us to have more and more bright and fun events on our Regnum life!

Breaking news about new NGD game server, Arctus realm, etc

I've got breaking news from one my good Spanish friend of his friend, a developer of NGD's Nuevo Grupo de Desarrollo team, and under some bottles of beer he shared some leak about NGD future plans.

So, the most exciting news is: NGD is serious about installing of brand new game server on ... hold your breath now, on Antarctica! Seems, like NGD moves very close behind Google (see For Data Center, Google Goes for the Cold) and Facebook (see Facebook Announces Sweden Based Data Center, Says It’s Really Cold There too) on such initiative! Sounds as a bullshit, but real reasons are trivial: virgin clear air will dramatically decrease ping through satellite broadband, plus absolutely low cost of hardware cooling (total ice around!), hardware protection (no any chance for stealing) and administrative maintenance (system admins can work remotely through SSH connection to maintain the server).

Second, rumor about new mobs: gigantic penguins and eagles.

Third: new war master's power to fly on eagle back and swim on penguin back, for example, thru central lake between realms, and on other side to throw sort of explosive big eggs to freeze enemies.

And, last (but quite sad, as for me) rumor: Alsius realm will be renamed to Arctus (as it was visible on the place of Alsius realm on the screen of NGD developer).

So, let's wait for those exciting changes and do not forget I was the one who reported about this leak first! :-)

UPDATED (2012/04/02): Well, all, of course, that news was an April 1st joke! :-P

P. S. Discussion/publishing of these news were done on different forums, on Fighters of Syrtis forum, Facebook's Regnum Online Fan Group, Twitter, Google+, SWS personal page on Facebook, and on Regnum Online forum. But I was really surprised about deletion of similar "Breaking news about new NGD game server, Arctus realm, etc" thread on Regnum Online forum by "Reason: Spreading false rumours" (BTW new "Breaking news about ... the epilog" is still exist... yet ;-) )... Strange to see so stupid NGD action because someone from there has no any sense of humor (except surak from ngd · Studios, his "Actually we are thinking about turning all Utghars into premium mounts" and "Buy your enemy and ride it" [for xims] comments were fresh and sweet)!

Also, do not forget to check Google April Fools' Day 2012 too. :-P

New clan ranking hierarchy

Hiya, my clannies and friends,

Our clan is growing fast and effective, and currently already more than a big, although 1.5+ years old, "child", and it's already time to increase requirements for making our clan more strong, functionally and structural effective, and elite on Syrtis land of Horus world. And, therefore according to suggested clan ranking changes on our forum next clan ranking hierarchy has been activated recently:

1. 20 - 29 levels - the lowest, no rank, is for low level newcomers, whom we welcome and will support and encourage, and they will be on probation period in clan during the nearest 3 months (by the way, some exceptions on recruiting from less than 20 level are possible, but under personal discussion),
2. 30 - 49 levels - "Storm Dragoon" rank,
3. 50 - 59 levels - "Virtuous Elite" rank, for powerful and experiences clannies, 
4. 60 level - the highest "Son Of Ares" rank, for clannies, who reached the highest rank and on the direct road to Warmasters,
5. a godmode "Alpha" rank, a special rank which do not depend on level and for trusted clannies only, "old guards", who are fully loyal to our clan and reliable and can lead and teach parties and other clannies in battles, invasions, etc,
6. an exclusive "Grey Eminence" rank for Titanium Axle, a founder of SWS clan.

To Syrtis War Stalkers clan member: please let Titanium Axle know when you had reached 30 or 50 or 60 levels in order to promote you, and he will do it with big pleasure!
